Biostar Tissue Paper

BioStar Lifetech LLP commencing its operations in 2011, now we are positioned as one of the best service provider of the highest quality scientific consumable products across INDIA.

We, now emerge further as a manufacturer of highest quality Hygienic products under the brand name “BioSTAR Tissue papers”. Tissue-paper manufacturing technology has evolved and diverged from ordinary-paper technology, so that a new glossary and new test methods have become necessary.

Our BioSTAR Tissue papers are manufactured with utmost care in the clean room environment as per the standards of ISO 12625-4:2005, ISO 12625-8:2010, ISO 9001: 2015. We strive constantly to develop and deliver Hygienic products which meet the various needs of our customers.

Environment must be the Big Winner

Many research shows that using recycled paper instead of virgin pulp is highly benecial to the environment. Most importantly, it allows to reduce the consumption of wood resources that otherwise will be lost forever since the tissue paper is last stage of fibres use.

Environmental impact assessment of tissue paper production (endpoint impact analysis) Tissue paper manufacturing from virgin pulp is more environmentally intensive than from recycled waste paper in all endpoint impact categories: human health, ecosystems and resources. As a result, the overall environmental impact of the production process of tissue paper from virgin pulp is larger by 0.4 Pt.

Although there are plenty reasons for such dissimilarities, the major one seems to be use of raw materials (the wood pulp) and related to it deforestation, fossil fuel emissions and finally, use of water, energy and chemicals during pulp making process.

Virgin Pulp

Pulp is a clean, wood-based raw material used to manufacture paper and various paper-based products.

Virgin pulp is produced by chemically or mechanically separating cellulose fibres from woods or fibre crops. Virgin paper is the kind of paper that does not contain any recycled content and is made directly of the pulp of trees or cotton. This kind of paper is also considered to be a high-quality paper.

Recycled Pulp

Virgin pulp and Recycled pulp are two types of pulps that are used to manufacture paper and paper products.

Recycled pulp is made of used paper which has been processed by chemicals, so the inks will be removed along with the other unwanted elements and freed the paper fibres. Recycled pulp is safe to use as a raw material in paper manufacturing. Most of the facial tissues, toilet tissues and newsprints grade commonly contain 100% recycled pulp and in many other grades. Recycled paper is the kind of paper that was made from paper and paper products that have been used before and recovered.

Which is Better

Recycled Paper?

Fundamentally, the answer is easy. The Environmental Paper Network's Paper Calculator shows clearly that it’s better for the environment to use recycled paper than virgin paper, for all paper grades. The study shows the environmental benefits of using recycled copy paper rather than virgin copy paper

Virgin Paper?

Henceforth the study proves that Recycled Paper provides the most environmental beneifts, saves the most resources and avoids the most toxics and pollution in the environment.

We Chose Environment Over Cost Effectiveness!

The production of recycled pulp is harder and relatively more expensive than the production of virgin pulp. Usually, the production of virgin pulp consists of three steps which are logging, milling and distribution. On the other hand, the production of recycled pulp has more steps which are paper collection and recovery, pulping and deinking.

These steps take more time and require more money. But in order to keep our green areas alive and decrease environmental pollution, we need to recycle and use papers made of recycled pulp.

Why BioSTAR use recycled fiber?

Traditional paper manufacturing, especially that relying on virgin wood fiber, creates major environmental burdens, including the overuse of natural resources, production of greenhouse gases, release of toxic emissions, impacts on regions and communities, disposal of waste, and much more.

Meeting the burgeoning global demand with conventional manufacturing processes will only increase the enormous and unsustainable environmental costs. What is required, instead, is a thorough rethinking and transformation of paper production in order to transition into the environmentally sustainable manufacturing processes crucial in this 21st century.

The key to supplying paper sustainably on such an unprecedented scale relies on minimizing paper's production footprint as much and as rapidly as possible. Only recycling and buying recycled content paper can comprehensively reduce the 9 most environmental demands at the same time.
